| I'm installing an EGT sensor in the DS manifold. I'll have the gauge on the A-pillar on the DS too The probe's cable is about 1' and the extension cable is 8'. This is a thin cable (about 1/8"). So, how/where can the cable enter the cabin ? The best route would be the hole (with a rubber cap) on the PS , under the fender, that we use usually for an EBC as it's near the ECU. But my cable is too short to come back on the DS. I found 2 other locations :
- In the engine bay, through the firewall, under the throttle cable. But I need to drill a hole in the firewall. Is there a risk ? - In the DS fender there's a big way for a stock harness (headlights...). But I need to drill a hole in the sealing rubber. And there may have some water in this area (fender), at least more than in the engine bay. Any opinion or other idea ?
